Get answers to the most commonly asked questions about freight and automobile shipping and the transportation process.

When Will My Vehicle Be Picked Up?

On average, for a standard shipment it will typically take one to seven business days from the time your booking has been received to locate a carrier and schedule a time for pick-up. Expedited services are available for rush shipments and time sensitive transports.

Can I Track the Progress of My Shipment?

Millennium Transport offers you real time SMS or E-mail tracking updates with every shipment. Rest easy knowing when and where your shipment is at all times. A mobile device or valid e-mail address is required. Standard text messaging rates may apply.

Is My Vehicle or Freight Insured During Transportation?

Yes. You are insured from pick-up to delivery. Comprehensive insurance options are also available for in-transit damage caused by carrier negligence or equipment malfunction by the assigned carrier.

How Do I Pay For Transportation Services?

We accept all major credit cards, electronic transfer, money orders, certified checks & travelers checks for deposit or full pre-payment. If a balance is due at the time of delivery, the carrier will accept cash, certified check or money order.

Does Someone Need To Be Present During Pick-Up & Delivery?

Yes. Someone must be present to accept the vehicle, provide keys and sign an inspection report. This person can be anyone over the age of 18.

Can I Put Personal Items In My Vehicle?

We highly recommend you do not put personal items in your vehicle. Personal items are not insured if they are damaged or reported missing. If you decide to put personal items inside your vehicle, it must not exceed 100 lbs. and must be kept in the trunk or your back seat, below the window line. We are not liable for any personal items that are damaged or reported missing.

How Far In Advance Should I Schedule My Transport?

The father in advanced you schedule service, the more likely we will be able to meet the time requirements. For best results, try to schedule your transport at least 1-2 weeks in advance. Expedited services are available for rush and time sensitive shipments at an additional cost.

Where Will My Vehicle Be Picked Up and Delivered?

The driver will get as close to your door as he can legally and safely get. Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas. Carriers are large and need a lot of room to maneuver and turn around. If access to the pickup or delivery location is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees or tight turns, the driver may ask that you meet the truck at a large parking lot nearby, such as a grocery store.
